Survival Challenge: Engineering The Ultimate Forest Living Spaces This project was a masterclass in wilderness engineering, pushing my limits to create not one, but two distinct survival sanctuaries: a secure, hidden underground bunker and a comfortable, dream-inspired tiny home. The bunker was designed for maximum protection and insulation, utilizing stone and earth to remain invisible from the surface. In contrast, the dream tiny home was built to maximize forest views and natural light, using reclaimed wood and traditional joinery to create a space that feels like a permanent home rather than just a shelter. Beyond the intensive labor, this video captures the evolution of my survival skills as I balanced the demands of two very different construction projects. I focused on making both spaces fully functional, with sustainable heating systems and efficient storage layouts that allow for long-term off-grid living. This journey highlights the versatility of bushcraft and the importance of having both a secure bunker and a livable home in a survival situation.
