What's New in Our Hay Operation

We use a variety of different farm tractors and implements to cut, rake and bale hay. The tractor we are using to cut and bale our hay this year is our Farmall 400. We are using the Farmall to run both our John Deere No. 5 Sickle Bar Mower and our International Harvester 440 Baler which makes small square bales. We are using our Satoh Bull 630 Mitsubishi tractor to run our belt drive rake. I explain why we use each tractor for each implement, and I explain our haying schedule as we finish out our first cutting of 2026 with our last two hay fields.
