Peanut Interstate Cadet-Start to Flight

I remember this kit having impossibly hard balsa that had no hope of conforming to the curve of the bottom longeron. This model was never finished, but the Waco SRE that was kitted with it went together OK. I rebuilt that model in the late '80s and it flew great. I decided to try this one again using my years of gained experience, and I needed all of it! I laminated 6 bottom longerons because I dropped the building board on my first fuse, and I couldn't get 2 more that matched. 3 tries at the wheels, and I ended up convincing myself that washing out the wings like a propeller was the secret to stability. It isn't. Enjoy the wild oscillations into the wall!
