Easy Protein Bars Recipe Ingredients 7 cups Oats 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1/2 tsp Sea Salt 2 cups Fig 1 cup Honey 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 2 tsps Cinnamon 1/4 cup Vanilla Protein Powder 1/4 cup Unsweetened Shredded Coconut 1/4 cup Ground Flax Seed 1 1/2 cups Almonds (chopped) 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips Directions 1. Stir oats, oil, and salt together in a large bowl. 2. Pour oat mixture onto a baking sheet and spread evenly. Bake 375 for 20-25 minutes, stirring every few minutes. 3. Use immersion blender or food processor to blend fresh figs, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon. (If using dried figs, wait to add them in the next step.) 4. Take oats out of the oven and reduce temperature to 300. 5. Let oats cool, then add to other mixture, stirring until well combined. 6. Add protein powder, coconut, flaxseed, and nuts. Stir thoroughly. 7. Cover baking sheet with aluminum foil and pour mixture onto pan, spreading evenly and patting down until dense. 8. Bake for 35 minutes. 9. Let bars cool at least 15 minutes before slicing. This easy protein bars recipe makes 24 bars.
