We Built an N55 8hp E90 and It Failed Instantly!
In today's episode, we waste more time than you could imagine! Well not really, but we were working on the infamous N55 engine in my buddy's 2011 BMW e90 335xi. I guess it wasn't all that bad, it now has good bones but a bad problem. We unfortunately find a lingering issue that's plagued the vehicle for a while now. Not only did we upgrade the turbo with a Turbo Parts Canada unit and install an 8hp45 from an xDrive vehicle, the engine has been refreshed for service. .... buuuuuut, the N55 gremlins strike again. Stay tuned and see what's developed! Like the thumbnail states, I'm SO over this vehicle.
