Brewing a US Style "C" Hop Pale Ale | Extract Brewing | Muntons Craft Your Own
Here I brew an Extract Beer using dried malt extract and a can of Muntons "Craft Your Own" Munch malt. I use steeped dextrin malt and some dried malt extract DME in which to boil by hops and use the Munich malt extract as a late edition. Recipe: 1kg Light Dried Malt Extract 1.5kg Can of Muntons Craft Your Own - Munich Malt 100g Dextrose 250g of Dextrin Malt (or carapils) 100g Crossmyloof US C Hop Mix (11.5% AA) Hop Schedule: 15g of US C Hop @10 mins 20g of US C Hop @5 Mins 65g of US C Hop @hopstand (80 degrees C for 20 mins) Yeast: Crossmyloof Five US Ale Yeast Fermented at 20 degrees C for 13 days.
