Dzodze, Ghana Welcomes African Americans Back Home
The African Diaspora is welcomed home in Ghana. The country has declared 2019 the Year of Return for those of us in the Diaspora. This video shares the emotional welcome that I, and three other Black Americans, received when we arrived in Dzodze Ghana to study Ewe music. We were made citizens of Dzodze and members of the village, which is now our home in Ghana.
