British Arctic Tent Overnight in -20 C (Addicted City - Homeless Skill Level 99)
HP’s journey into the snowy forest begins in a cold, frozen city. For a long time, society has invested in drug and alcohol rehabilitation, yet the problem remains a persistent part of Helsinki. Homelessness linked to addiction is not an unknown phenomenon here. In extreme sub-zero temperatures, homelessness is no laughing matter and no joke. Every winter night, the survival skills of the men (and sometimes women) living outdoors are put to the test. Their capabilities must be near a hundred percent if they intend to see the following morning. While HP is not homeless himself, he is spending a night in an old military surplus tent (British Arctic tent) during extreme freezing weather to gain a deeper understanding of the hardships the homeless face in icy winter conditions. The action takes place in and around Helsinki, Finland.
