California Missions History and a Visit to San Juan Bautista
This adventure will be the start of a series on the California Missions with a look at the history and founding of the mission system. This content is great for fourth (4th) grade students looking to expand knowledge and learn a little more about the historic missions and the role they played in early California history. After we are educated about how and why the missions were started, we will take a virtual tour of Mission San Juan Bautista. This is a great tool to help plan your own visit to this special little town. Enjoy the educational adventure of Mission of San Juan Bautista, the historic buildings nearby, an original portion of El Camino Real, and this great little historic town.
