Finding LT Dengler's Aircraft Engine on The Ho Chi Minh Trail

The Ho Chi Minh Trail in Eastern Laos along the Vietnamese border is littered with war debris from the Second Indochina War and Secret War in Laos. Chris Corbett of Lao ADV Tours and myself - with colleague Hulee - went on a quest to find the village of Hoi Het, Laos where U.S. Navy Pilot LT Dieter Dengler was held as a U.S. Prisoner of War. Dengler was one of only two U.S. pilots to escape captvity from Laos during the war, the other being Navy LT Charles Klusman. We were also able to pay a visit to the Laos Government office where LT Dengler's aircraft engine is displayed. This is the story of the engine. A-1 Pilots at 2:45 (left to right) Roger Youngblood, me (not a pilot), Jon Goldenbaum, Clif Groves, John Raulston. https://www.doctorpaulcarter.com/ Engine location https://maps.app.goo.gl/nPXiVMWUgGrNC... https://www.laoadvtours.com/ ‪@CarterOnConflict‬ Visit other Forgotten Heroes at https://www.cavwv.org/forgotten-warri... @PresCAVWV
