Applied Linear Algebra: Stabilizing LU
WEB: https://faculty.washington.edu/kutz/a... This lecture focuses on how to stabilise the LU decomposition using pivoting. In particular, we show that the usual process used in Gaussian elimination for pivoting can be used to help make the LU decomposition well-conditioned.
