In this video, I present the new V200 008 from ESU. The model belongs to Era III and has been technically overhauled – it impresses across the board. Enjoy! Thanks for pointing out the dented grilles in the sloping roof. I glued them back in place; that went smoothly. Also, someone asked about the pull test. The model consistently pulled 200 grams in five runs – that's fine! A maximum of 0.3 ml of distillate can be filled into each of the two smoke generators! According to the operating instructions, this amount should be sufficient for 10-12 minutes of smoke development. I can't confirm this, perhaps because I've enjoyed starting and braking more so far. As the locomotive continued to run, the smoke development reduced significantly and would therefore possibly last for 10 minutes. Pictures of the interior of the model were also requested.
