Starting from the Marunouchi exit of Tokyo Station, we drove along the Shuto Expressway toward Tsukiji Outer Market and visited Sushizanmai Shinkan in Tsukiji. After having sushi for lunch, we went to the Tsukiji Outer Market and browsed various shops. From there, we hopped on a bus along the Shuto Expressway and headed to the famous Tokyo Skytree. We climbed to the observation deck and enjoyed a cocktail at the observation cafe while looking out at the Tokyo view! Skytree was hosting a collaboration event with the popular mascot Chiikawa, an event that could be enjoyed by children and adults alike. From there, we went to Sensoji Temple and Nakamise Street in Asakusa, strolling through Nakamise Street, praying, and drawing fortune slips before returning to the bus. Nakamise Street was bustling with tourists, especially since it was Sunday. The bus then headed to our final destination, Izuei Shinobazutei, an eel restaurant in Ueno. For an early dinner, we had unaju (grilled eel on rice). The rice with sauce and the grilled eel were delicious. After eating, we got back on the bus and arrived at our final destination, the Marunouchi Exit of Tokyo Station, where we disbanded! It was a fun bus tour that allowed us to see Tokyo's famous sights in half a day.
