TRUSTING GOD IN A WORLD THAT TEACHES US NOT TO TRUST

We live in a world that has taught us not to trust. We've been lied to, disappointed, let down, and hurt. We've trusted people who broke their promises, counted on others who weren't there, and believed things that never came to pass. Over time, the world teaches us to rely only on ourselves. But God never created us to live that way. Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." Jesus said He is the Good Shepherd. A sheep survives not because it knows the way, but because it trusts the shepherd leading it. The sheep cannot see around the corner, cannot see the danger in the brush, and cannot find water on its own. Its safety is found in trusting the one who is leading it. John 10:11 "I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." When we trust God, we stop carrying burdens we were never meant to carry. We stop trying to control every outcome and begin resting in the promises of the One who sees tomorrow. The world may have taught us not to trust, but God's Word still teaches us to trust Him completely. ✨ The Shepherd sees what the sheep cannot see. Trust Him. ✨
