Medical Mission Trip To Ghana Africa (Part 1)

Join us on part 1 of our medical mission trip to Ghana. I did anesthesia at the hospital Mr Beast built as a CRNA (nurse anesthetist) for the surgical mission while Jon and Tyanna volunteered on the humanitarian side. Written and informed consent was obtained from all patients and/or guardians appearing in the video for recording and posting on social media. This video is for educational purposed only. We are sharing with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of medical mission work. Donate to GMAD here (anything helps): https://www.ghanamakeadifference.org/ GMAD Shelter Children rescued from slavery, abandonment, domestic abuse or those that have special needs are being cared for at GMAD. For the first time ever, the adults around them have their best interest in mind. The kids learn, play and thrive while social workers reintegrate them into society. Empirical research shows that no institution, no matter how good it may be, is an adequate replacement for family. We provide preparatory training and follow-up support to ensure the long-term success of child placements and family preservation. Medical Missions Treatable medical tragedies disrupt millions of African families every year. Each year, 4 medical missions take place, hosted and organized by GMAD. Dental, Eye and two surgical missions. Hundreds of people obtain their long awaited, life changing surgery! As we help parents or children with unmet medical needs we have found that our medical efforts have been our most effective way for preventing a child from becoming vulnerable in the first place. For better care, we have a medical clinic at GMAD that is operational year round. In 2024 we opened our very own surgical center in partnership with Mr. Beast.
