It's probably a bug, so I added her battle theme from pantheon. On Radiant difficulty, any damage, be it from boss or anything else, will kill you. But if boss kills you, and you manage to land the killing blow to the boss before disappearing, it will still count as a win. At least you can overcharm as much as you can without worrying about penalty.
