Saurierkiefer, roter Feuerstein und andere coole Strand-Fossilien Helgolands

In the summer of 2025, I was last on my favorite island before embarking on a big trip. And it was fantastic! I was treated to an (unplanned) night under the stars on the beach (since I missed the last ferry to the main island and thus to my accommodation), unspoiled nature, a beautiful sunrise and sunset, and so much more! Back home, while preparing it, the sensational discovery came to light: a jawbone of a marine reptile related to the Nothosaurs, over 240 million years old.
