Ustad Faiyaz Khan - Raga Bibhas

A I R Lucknow extensively recorded Ustad Faiyaz Khan during the last year of his life. Khan Saheb was unwell, suffering from a life threatening illness. Some wire recording transfers are priceless, unfortunately of very poor sound quality. Acknowledgement: The music I am uploading, only a few I recorded myself. Most are the loving and generous contributions from my dear friends, Supravat Mukerjee, Sarbari Roy Choudhury, Amar Sanyal, Ahmed Ali Khan, Atma Gidwani, Krishna Hegde, Gopalkrishnan, John Wilton and a few others. Unfortunately, some of my friends are no more there. I am uploading my collection for the for the benefit of music lovers, before it is too late.
