I hope this video will answer some of the questions you may have had regarding EGPU's Thx 4 watchin But seriously, an EGPU is a great way to make a solid older MacBook Pro, like a 2011 MacBook Pro, 2012 MacBook Pro, 2013 MacBook Pro, 2014 MacBook Pro, or 2015 MacBook Pro exceptionally more powerful. It can add life to a 2014 iMac, 2012 iMac, 2013 iMac, 2015 iMac, and obviously the 2017 and 2019 iMac. The Mac Mini 2018 will also support this EGPU, and the only other Mac Mini I would use an EGPU with is the 2012 i7 quad core mac mini.
