The resort is a sanctuary for adults only guests, nestled amidst the incredible scenery of Cuba's Jardines del Rey archipelago, around 60 minutes away from the Jardines del Rey Airport. Taxis and holiday package bus service are two options for getting from the airport to the resort. Having two huge pools, a gym, a multipurpose court, and loungers placed throughout the property, there are numerous ways to start your day in this paradise. Sanctuary White Sands Resort features 528 newly built appealing rooms with stunning views of the verdant garden, shining pool, or hypnotic sea. Each room displays modern elegance, embellished with elegant décor and furnished with all the necessities. The resort’s staff will do its best to provide a wide range of great services and amenities, ensuring that each guest has an amazing and relaxing stay within this tranquil haven. Ultimately, we had a fantastic time at the Sanctuary White Sands, which is a well-kept recently built property with gorgeous surroundings and impeccable design. The staff's kindness and assistance made our stay even more delightful, with special appreciation to Alejandro (General Manager), who puts all of his passion into attempting to please each visitor from the minute you arrive, and he meets you until the moment you leave, and he comes to say goodbye to each guest at 6:30 AM. The food in the buffets and restaurants was good and tasty, although somewhat repetitious given the reality of Cuba today. Try the Mediterranean restaurant “AEGEA”; the ambience is fantastic. With its stunning blue water, the beach was among the best in Cuba and has a high chance of becoming the most popular tourist destination. The drinks at the bars were good, and usually they were served with a smile. Given the newness of the resort, the entertainment staff was excellent, albeit still in the process of developing. Having visited a few other adults-only resorts in the Cayo Cruz or Cayo Coco area, we believe this one to be among the best! RESORT RATINGS: Value to Money - 5/5 Stars (Affordably priced compared to many other Caribbean destinations.) Location - 5/5 Stars (Located on one of the most stunning sections of the Cayo Cruz beach.) Beach 5/5 Stars (One of Cuba's nicest beaches, with white sand and blue water.) Reception - 5/5 Stars (Very kind and competent, friendly greeting.) Service - 5/5 Stars (We are grateful to everyone who has put in so much effort to fulfill our requirements and keep us happy.) Buffet – 3.5/5 Stars – (Good food, although monotonous considering Cuba's current situation. We anticipate that the food options will increase as the peak season (end of November) approaches.) Buffet “Compared to other Cuban Resorts” – 5/5 Starts (As is typical at many Cuban resorts these days, there are no shortages of meat, eggs, or soft drinks here.) Restaurants – 4/5 Stars (Tasty food, but limited choices given the reality of Cuba today. Mediterranean restaurant “AEGEA” was our favorite.) Rooms – 5/5 Stars (Very well-kept, with all the facilities operating as intended. A nice TV with a good channel selection and a perfectly functioning air conditioner. Cleanliness – 5/5 Stars (Incredibly well-organized and spotless, with every employee always contributing.)
