The original song was a cover version of Secession's "Touch" released by Epic Records in 1987. Remixed by Steven Von Blau on Disconet Program Service: Volume 9 Program 10. Released on July 1987. Disconet Program Service was a New York-based "subscription" label founded in 1977 by Mike Wilkinson, aka "Captain Mike". Any working "Club" or "Radio" DJ with proper documentation could "subscribe" and receive the monthly vinyl double-packs (called side A/B + bonus side 1/2). There were seasonal bonus discs, the occasional “triple-pack” release, and a small number of CD compilations that were manufactured toward the end of the label's life. The label folded in 1990.
