The Person Who Triggers You Most? They're Your Greatest Teacher

A gift for you- The Return: A Journey Home to Yourself. A free guided audio practice in self-trust, receiving, and hearing your own inner voice again, https://www.mymidlifementor.com/ I think about some of the people who have triggered me most over the years. And with real honesty, I can say they were some of my greatest teachers. Not because they were right, or kind, or even particularly self-aware. But because of what they reflected back. The woman speaking her truth online showed me I had a voice I hadn't used yet. The woman taking up space unapologetically showed me I was allowed to stop hiding. The people whose qualities bothered me most showed me parts of myself I needed to face. None of them knew they were doing any of that. But they were. So the next time someone triggers you — and it will happen, it happens to all of us- see if you can pause just long enough to get curious. Not to excuse their behaviour. Do not let yourself be treated badly. But to ask the quiet question underneath all of it: What is this showing me about me? Because the answer to that question — as uncomfortable as it might be — is where the real freedom lives. To work with Krista 1:1, email [email protected] #triggers #triggered #feelstuck
