Ranmaru, a Shiba Inu, is quite the mischievous rascal. Whenever he spots something his family is paying attention to or holding, he stealthily picks it up in his mouth and proudly presents it to them—he loves the commotion it causes. In this video, Ranmaru is lounging at home when a bug (a house centipede) wanders in. After a bit of a stir, the bug is captured in a bug-catching cup and banished outside; however, seizing a split-second opportunity, Ranmaru snatches the cup away—he enjoyed the excitement of the moment. Having swiped the cup—which has held plenty of bugs in the past—Ranmaru proceeds to chew and lick it, wearing a rather mischievous look on his face. But before long, he grows bored; he tosses the cup aside, and his attention shifts to something else that has caught his interest: his own hind legs.
