I Couldn't Keep Up with the Garden, The Heatwave Challenges

This week the garden has suddenly shifted into another season altogether. After weeks of cold nights, rain and hesitating over planting… the temperatures have jumped into the high twenties and everything in the garden seems to be racing ahead all at once. In this video I’m trying to keep up with the heat and the burst of summer growth: 🌱 re-sowing carrot seedlings that mysteriously disappeared 🌸 planting out sweet peas 🌿 mulching young hybrid willow cuttings 🫘 planting climbing beans for the season ahead 🐶 washing Snowy after a very unfortunate encounter with fox poo… 🛒 and bringing home some beautiful new plants from the garden centre I definitely didn’t get through everything I had planned this weekend… but at the same time, the garden still moved forward.
