🌿 Self-Acceptance Meditation | Time to Accept Me Just As I Am Throughout our lives, we constantly strive to become better people. We think we must do better, we must not make mistakes, and we struggle to change who we are now. However, true change does not begin by pushing yourself away. It begins the moment you notice, understand, and warmly accept yourself in this very moment. Based on the principles of self-acceptance, this meditation offers a time to stay with yourself just as you are, viewing both your good and your flaws as part of yourself. Pause for a moment and meet the self that is right here and now. ⸻ ⏱️ Main Meditation Steps • Start and Relaxation (0:00 - 1:01) Close your eyes in a comfortable position, stay with yourself in this very moment, and focus on your natural breathing. • Observation of Body and Mind (1:21 - 2:27) Simply notice physical tension or discomfort, as well as the various emotions (joy, anxiety, exhaustion, etc.) residing within your mind, just as they are, without judgment. • Self-Acceptance Practice (2:37 - 4:44) Draw a large circle in your mind and fill it with not only your capable self but also your flawed and weary self.
