Chrono24 visits NOMOS Glashütte | Founded in 1990 NOMOS Glashütte is an independently owned company that is known for creating watches of the highest quality. The small city of Glashütte is the heart of NOMOS, where 260 employees build timepieces with a lot of effort and attention to detail. NOMOS Glashütte exclusively produces its own calibers and from the milling plates to the screws - everything is made by hand. Whereas each and every watch is produced in Glashüte, Berlin is where the designing of the watch happens. We are very honored and proud that we got invited to visit their facilities in Glashütte and Berlin to get an in-depth view on how NOMOS Glashütte watches are designed, developed and produced. During our visit we also had the chance to talk to the CEO of NOMOS Glashütte, Uwe Ahrendt, Thomas Höhnel (NOMOS Designer) and Theodor Spretzel (Head of Design Engineering).
