NYC Subway#87 Rare Rides On A R143 & R179 (J) Trains Via (M) Line Lorimer To Metro, Then To Myrtle B

Taken on Sunday 8/26/18. Due to station improvements at Broadway Junction last weekend, there were no (J) Trains running between Crescent St & Myrtle Avenue-Broadway. (J) Trains were running in 2 sections, #1 between Broad St-Lower Manhattan & Via The (M) Line in Middle Village-Metropolitan Avenue, #2 between Crescent St & Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer. Free Shuttle Buses backed up (J) Line Service between Myrtle Avenue-Broadway & Crescent St. As seen in this video I'm riding a R143 (J) Train without announcements from Lorimer St Via The (M) Line To Middle Village-Metropolitan Avenue, then through an RFW on a R179 (J) Train from Middle Village-Metropolitan Avenue To Myrtle Avenue-Broadway (With skipping to record Knickerbocker Avenue on the way back). Well yeah unfortunately guys for the section between Metropolitan Avenue & Broad St there weren't any old tech trains running this time which was what I was aiming for in an RFW on one of them. Last weekend could of marked the last time any old tech equipment would of ever touched the BMT Myrtle Avenue Line, but it looks like July 22nd, 2018 was the last time. All the new tech equipment the (J) currently uses in the R143s, R160A-1s (including borrowed sets from the (M) ), and R179s were the only types of equipment the (J) used for this Metropolitan To Broad St section. Anyway guys I hope you can still enjoy this rare footage considering how rare it is to see an R143 and an R179 on the Myrtle Avenue Line, and keep in mind that my next 2 uploads are going to be more interesting ones compared to my last couple.
