Klevgrand Ting Walkthrough Review + Jam (iOS multisampled percussion instrument)
Klevgrand’s Ting is a fun, useful and really nice-sounding multi-sampled instrument. Ting uses over 500 different samples to create 12 midi-triggerable velocity-sensitive sounds of household items like pots and boxes as well as finger snaps, claps etc. In this video I look at how to use the app and the various features it has, but most interestingly, I look in detail at how to build a complex jam using generative midi to trigger instances of Ting as well as other instruments. The jam is a bit jazzy and also pretty psychedelic, with a middle eastern flavour. This video uses the iPad version but desktop versions of Ting are identical.
