After graduating from a hairdressing and beauty school, he started working at a salon in Nagano Prefecture. He was promoted to salon manager three years after joining the company and used blogs and email newsletters to attract new customers. After leaving the beauty salon where he was working, he opened the first "Dears" salon in his hometown in May 2015. The 100th salon opened in October 2019, and by December 2020, it had opened in every prefecture. As of January 2023, the company currently operates 173 salons in 47 prefectures. Over 2,000 people have studied at the business school "UBM (University of Business Management)," which has led to them serving as advisors to over 100 companies and launching 16.
