Eviction turns bloody: Police chief injured in Kg Sungai Baru clash

Police have blocked access to parts of Kampung Sungai Baru, Kuala Lumpur, this morning to facilitate the eviction of residents refusing to move out. No one is allowed in or out unless they have a special pass, with police aiming to prevent provocations and unwanted incidents. Meanwhile Dang Wangi district police chief Suzilme Affendy Sulaiman sustained injuries to his head when chaos broke out after several disgruntled residents attempted to force their way into the area.
