This Spanish Civil War mini history documentary was filmed & animated in Madrid. The Spanish Civil War is fascinatingly complex. That’s why I’ve decided to explain the Battle/Siege of Madrid between 1936 & 1939 using animation and original footage I shot in Madrid. To understand the two sides during the Spanish Civil War (the Nationalists and the Republicans), it helps to reduce the conflict down to the city level.
