The Premier League anglers kicked off the 2026 SNFFL campaign at Burnhouse Lochan, where bright conditions and difficult fishing made for a challenging start to the season. After a strong First Division event the previous week, anglers returned to Burnhouse to find the fish far harder to locate. With catches spread across the rotating pegs, competitors had to work hard for every take across both sessions.
