In this video I repaired a leak from a copper wall plate. The copper wall plate has been broken by another mechanic. The trick was to locate the leak and carry out the repair in such a way that there is no visible damage later on. I took the tiles out first. Then I chopped the water pipe free. I loosened the wall plate by making the wall plate hot with the burner. I sanded the copper water pipe clean with sandpaper and then soldered the new copper wall plate on it. After soldering I closed the hole and tiled it. then i installed the bath faucet.
