With only 7,000 yen in his first month and on the verge of going out of business, he started a blog as a last resort, but it proved to be a success. Reservations began filling up after three months, and monthly sales exceeded 1 million yen six months later. This led to the opening of two stores in front of Yokohama Station, adding seven staff members and expanding into eyelash and nail care. He opened an e-commerce site purchasing from Austria and Korea (gaining 500 members in six months through word of mouth alone and no advertising), and expanded his business by renting conference rooms. In the process, he received many inquiries from individual salon owners across the country, and began providing customer attraction and management consulting services specializing in individual salons. Solo salon owners who, like himself, had struggled to attract customers and generate sales, followed his advice and transformed their salons into "salons that were fully booked and achieving record sales." In 2016, he retired from managing his own salon and focused on his consulting business. He founded the Salon School® "Master Salon Management Academy." Students come from all over Japan and even from overseas, such as Australia. Monthly sales increased from ¥15,000 to ¥4 million. They also hired three staff members. Achieved ¥2 million in monthly sales in a salon surrounded by rice fields with only one train per hour. Relocated the salon to a location four minutes from Omotesando, achieving a peak of ¥10 million in monthly sales. Opened a salon in a 30-year-old apartment building, achieving ¥1 million in monthly sales from ¥400,000. A salon that had been receiving a reduction in national health insurance premiums due to inability to pay increased its monthly sales to ¥2.9 million. Monthly sales increased from ¥80,000 to ¥2.5 million in a town of 17,000 people. Sales soared from a home salon with monthly sales of ¥130,000 to a store, achieving monthly sales of ¥3.6 million.
