Join us on an unforgettable 7-day hut-to-hut hiking adventure through the stunning Tatra Mountains, crossing from Poland into Slovakia. Over 80 km, we tackled 5,720 meters of elevation gain, summited Rysy, passed the iconic Morskie Oko, hiked through remote alpine valleys, crossed countless waterfalls, and stayed in some of the most beautiful mountain huts in the Tatras. But not everything went according to plan. On day four, dangerous conditions, snow-filled couloirs, and exposed T5 terrain forced us to make the difficult decision to turn back. In the mountains, safety always comes first.
