Small & Growing Businesses – Nishanthi’s story
Nishanthi is a client of World Vision Australia (WVA)’s Small & Growing Businesses (SGB) Program in Sri Lanka - a partnership with our microfinance subsidiary Vision Fund designed to provide crucial access to ‘missing middle’ finance and business support to high potential small businesses who have outgrown microfinance but are considered too small and risky to access bank loans. Her story is of an inspiring woman entrepreneur who overcame adversity and succeeded in improving her livelihood and hence family well-being, with the support of WVA.
