We ended up halting at a place called 'Do Mukh'—not because we wanted to, but because the local police say ‘no riding after 7:30 PM, folks!’ So yep, we parked our bikes and settled in a tiny village for the night. Let’s just say—cozy vibes with a hint of surprise! Now, Do Mukh is about 30 km away from a spot called Sakegad. Sounds close, right? Well... not exactly. It took us a solid two hours to cover that stretch—because why would the road be normal when adventure is calling? 😅 Today’s mission was clear: reach Sakegad first and then head to Simikot, which is roughly 80 km away. BUT—and here’s the spicy part—this 80 km route comes with two tricky patches where road construction is happening.
