Some people come into our lives for a reason, and their kindness changes our lives forever. This song is my heartfelt tribute to Alan Bashford, my very first boss in Sydney, Australia. When I arrived in Australia, everything was new and unfamiliar. I was far from home, trying to find my place in a country where I had to start my life from scratch. During that uncertain time, Alan believed in me. He trusted me, gave me opportunities, encouraged me, and supported me in ways that went far beyond the workplace. His generosity, patience, and willingness to help laid the foundation for the life I have today. He didn't just give me a job—he gave me confidence, hope, and a chance to build a future.
