Sajan George on "The Future of Education" Sajan is the Founder & CEO of Matchbook Learning, a national non-profit school turnaround management organization that has designed and implemented a unique blended model of school, the only one of its kind targeting turnaround (i.e. bottom 5%) public schools that blends face-to-face and virtual instruction. We started working in Detroit to bring our teacher-centric blended model of school to turnaround some of the nation's most neediest schools. Our blended turnaround model design has won numerous national awards and recognition. Prior to founding Matchbook Learning, CEO Sajan George was a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal ("A&M") where he led the Firm's Education Practice. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
