On a recent trip south to the Mull of Galloway we found ourselves in a position where a ‘Grand Slam’ of inshore Sharks became a real possibility. After finding Tope, Bull Huss, Dogfish and Smoothhound, all that was missing was, what would normally be a nuisance species. Alas, it didn’t happen, and we had to settle for just the 4. In this episode of Angling 360, we are in search of redemption, and the species that ultimately let us down previously. This time, we are on the west coast of Argyle; an infamous stronghold for this tenacious little Shark, that is of course the Spurdog. This time, it’s back out with the Big rods as we tackle a new shore mark that, from the look of the maps, looks pretty promising.
