Duxford Spitfire experience highlights

R J Mitchell certainly was an awesome creator when he came up with the Supermarine Spitfire. Its classic lines still look amazing today and, having just flown one, I can confirm they are still amazing to fly! Without doubt it played a crucial part in saving Britain in our moment of peril at a time when we still valued our Christian Heritage and knew what we stood for. It was jolly good spiffing fun! The pilot even let me say: "Bandits at three o'clock!". It was actually just a Catalina and it was about 20 passed 2 o'clock.
