The Japanese automaker wants to rewrite the rules of the game, and with the arrival of the new Aygo X Hybrid, Toyota is bringing the first A-segment car to the European (and Italian) market with a particularly efficient full hybrid. This isn't just a simple update, but a paradigm shift: the most compact in the Toyota range also becomes the non-plug-in car with the lowest CO₂ emissions on the market, emitting a mere 85 g/km in the WLTP cycle. This result perfectly illustrates the Japanese brand's strategy: extending electrification to all segments without sacrificing style, accessibility, and driving pleasure. The Aygo X, launched in 2022 as an urban crossover, now enters a new phase in its history, strengthening an already solid presence in Europe, where it has achieved a 20% share of the segment. The vehicle, designed and developed in Europe by Toyota Motor Europe in Belgium, is produced at the Kolin plant in the Czech Republic, where the new generation went into production on November 13.
