ESTIMATING CEMENT, SAND, GRAVEL, AND REINFORCEMENT IN REINFORCED CONCRETE BORED PILE

Bored piles are cylindrical concrete structures that can be reinforced or not, and they can be inserted into the ground using a number of different methods. In lower, load-bearing soils, they transfer heavy structural loads. When placed in rows or in a secant configuration, they can be used to cut into the ground or block off groundwater as well as form a supporting wall for an excavation pit. Depending on how they will be used, the piles' length, diameter, composition, shape, and arrangement can be changed.
