We always think, it won’t work any better, but every year they surpass themselves. Proof that super motivated fanciers with a very tight plan under their belt usually get there. During the 2014 season, “Charlotte” shone by winning the 1st National Ace pigeon title heavy middle distance yearly KBDB. The bloodline of “Charlotte” has been a blessing for the current top birds of this colony, Stephan strategically set out the lines on the breeding loft and it only got better afterwards. Sometimes dreams do come true! Stephan Machiels built his colony "Sabrina Brugmans" with the old species of father Adolf; Roger Buvens from Loksbergen; Hermans-Bonné from Loksbergen; Johan De Belser from Berlaar, Léon Jacobs from Tremelo and Gaston Van de Wouwer, Berlaar. The youngsters are played on the sliding door and a number of young hens are paired with old cocks. In the lofts there are crawl-away boxes in which the youngsters can frolic. After arriving from a match, they stay together until the afternoon of the next day. The youngsters train twice a day at home.
