Born on the Iron Range, Paul moved to Minneapolis in 1978 where he and his band Cats Under The Stars quickly became a fixture of the music scene. He has received seven Minnesota Music Awards and has played more than five thousand gigs, including forays to Iceland and Siberia. He now lives in Duluth, gigs regularly, and hosts “Stars Over The Prairie with Paul Metsa” every Saturday morning at 10 on KDAL 610 AM.
