In this video, we use Ford OEM software FDRS to program a cruise control module and complete the required vehicle configuration process. Using the proper OEM software is important when programming modern Ford modules because some vehicle systems require factory-level procedures, correct configuration, and proper communication with the vehicle network. As a bonus, we also completed the Steering Column Adjust Switch Initial Configuration, showing another example of how OEM-level software can be required after certain repairs, module replacements, or system configuration changes.
