This figure is more than double that of the same period last year, when the heatwave was particularly severe. The situation is similar in France. With temperatures exceeding 40 degrees in more than half of the regions, including Paris, major tourist attractions such as the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum have shortened their operating hours. Following dozens of deaths, a three-year-old baby has also passed away, and tens of thousands of households, primarily in the western region, are suffering from power outages.
