This is a record of the round at Club 72 Sky Course on June 30, 2026. Although the weather was very humid that day, the soft, cushioned feel characteristic of the Sky Course was definitely pleasant. In the beginning, my swing felt decent, and my overall shot feel was also quite good. However, the moment I put too much power into trying to hit the ball far on the par-5 6th hole, I developed an unfamiliar muscle pain in my stomach and lower back. Whether I focused too much on opening up the left side, or if my body isn't yet built up enough to withstand that movement, I don't know the exact cause, but the flow of the front nine completely collapsed after that. I finished the front nine at 10 over par, and in the back nine, after taking medication and starting to play with less power, I finished at 4 over par. My putting also kept missing slightly that day, and I didn't get that satisfying "clink" sound of the ball sinking in. Nevertheless, I had birdie chances in the back nine, there was a 15-meter chip-in bogey, and my playing partners were great, so overall, it was an enjoyable round. I am not a pro yet.
