Community Science Chasing Salt Project Webinar

Dear Community Scientists, Thank you for being part of our National Science Foundation-funded community science project exploring the impacts of salt on our streams and watersheds. Because of your dedication to collecting data throughout the season, you have helped contribute to a growing body of research that is improving our understanding of freshwater ecosystems. We are excited to invite you to a special webinar where you'll have the opportunity to meet the researchers leading the project from Virginia Tech, the University of Arkansas, Stroud Water Research Center, and our partner organizations. Together, we'll share how your observations fit into the larger national research effort, explore some of the data collected through the project, and discuss what we're learning so far. During the webinar, we'll: Learn about the larger National Science Foundation research project and its goals. See how the data you collected contribute to scientific research across multiple communities. Explore the project database in CitSci.org and learn how to view observations and results. Hear about preliminary findings and next steps for the research. Meet the research team and ask questions during a live Q&A session. Whether you collected one sample or many, your participation has made a meaningful contribution to this project. We hope you'll join us as we celebrate your efforts, share what we've learned together, and look ahead to what's next. We look forward to seeing you! With gratitude, Tara Muenz & the Chasing Salt Team
