Old Rusty Hand Water Pump Restoration (FULL RESTORATION) Elephas pompa dell'acqua manuale

Today I want to show you how I fixed my old rusty hand water pump, with a modification. This pump is usually mounted on the wall, but since I wanted to put it in the garden I made some changes and with a cast iron stake I created the base stand. I made a new cup and lower valve with a piece of leather scrap used by a shoemaker friend. I found this pump ten years ago in a farm house in the Italian countryside, they were throwing it away because it was old and no longer working. I'm glad I brought it back to life.
